Following a glorious debut last year, In The Meadows is back, bringing an eclectic lineup to the scenic grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art for a full day of music across three stages. Curated by the teams behind All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit, this one-day festival is built for dedicated music lovers.

IGGY POP, the godfather of punk, is leading the charge, making his long-awaited return to Dublin after 17 years. From his pioneering days with The Stooges to his iconic solo career, Iggy’s electrifying stage presence and fearless artistry have shaped generations of music. If you haven’t seen Iggy Pop live, now is the time.

Joining him is an unmissable lineup featuring boundary-pushing artists, including shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, whose lush sounds continue to captivate audiences worldwide. Billy Nomates, a standout voice in modern punk, brings her genre-defying, fiercely independent style to the stage following a string of critically acclaimed releases. The legendary punk poet Dr. John Cooper Clarke will make a special guest appearance, delivering his razor-sharp social commentary in his signature rapid-fire verse. Dublin’s own The Scratch bring their powerhouse blend of folk and metal, while Gilla Band are masters of avant-garde noise-rock. Sprints add their raw, emotionally charged post-punk to the mix.

From the UK’s underground scene, Warmduscher bring their off-kilter post-punk chaos, while Lambrini Girls shake things up with blistering punk. Poland’s Trupa Trupa craft hypnotic, dark rock, and Donegal’s Muireann Bradley blends bluegrass and roots with a striking voice. Meryl Streek delivers politically charged lyrics that pack a punch, and Really Good Time rounds out the bill with their infectious indie-punk anthems.

Press Quotes from In The Meadows 2024

“Communion, grief, and adventurous music-making are at the heart of a new Irish festival. A thrilling, unnerving, and well-curated day of music.”Songlines UK

“In The Meadows offers up a genuinely alternative proposition to the Irish festival circuit… catering to a spectrum of tastes where genre-flipping contenders and cult heroes go back-to-back with several all-timers.”The Thin Air

“We need to tip the cap to whoever put this lineup of bands together. With artists such as Lankum, Mogwai, Black Country, New Road, John Francis Flynn, and This Is The Kit, this is one of the best festival schedules in recent years.”No More Workhorse

“The first edition of In The Meadows is not only a significant moment but an opportunity to mark both those who have been an inspiration and those they have in turn inspired. This is a festival where the term ‘curated’ truly means something.”Golden Plec

“Genre-defying Dublin band Lankum leave fans holding their breath in awe with their performance at In The Meadows.”The Irish Times
