As students at Berklee College of Music the trio started sharing covers recorded in the stairwell of their dorm and posting them on social media. Focusing on beautifully intimate three-part harmonies their enticing signature sound, offered exquisite, reimagined versions of songs from across a spectrum of styles and quickly drove them to viral success.

The trio’s first two singles of original music “pennies (voice memo)” & “hemenway” were released at the end of 2022. The songs were met with an overwhelming response, organically garnering over 1 million plays across all digital streaming platforms in the first couple of months.

Their debut EP Tiny Things, released in April 2023, has established them as one of “the” bands to watch and earlier this year the group opened for Gracie Abram’s “Good Riddance Tour” across North America.

“One of the beautiful things about Tiny Habits is that each member is an integral, equal part of a well-oiled machine; there’s no lead vocalist but three spokes on the same wheel.”

– ONES TO WATCH

New York, NY (November 10, 2023) – Today, Tiny Habits release their brand new single “Small Enough” via BMG.

Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Tony Berg (BoyGenius, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers), “Small Enough” is a heartfelt indie folk gem that encapsulates a bittersweet journey of letting go. The trio’s lush harmonies and intimate vocals weave a poignant narrative of once overwhelming emotions that have faded with time into reminiscence.

Recently praised by Sir Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio program – “Ah, so beautiful, Tiny Habits… They’re delicious, we love them” – the trio of three singer-songwriters Maya Rae, Cinya Khan and Judah Mayowa explain, “We are so excited to release our new single ‘Small Enough,” says Tiny Habits. “This song means a lot to us. It’s about realizing how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown.”

The “Small Enough” music video entails moving on from heartbreak and the beauty of outgrowing pain. Directed by Weston Borg (The War On Drugs), this video is bound to leave the watcher with a triumphant feeling of resolved nostalgia. This video marks the band’s first time together behind the camera for a visual project of their own. Filmed in Boston where the band first met is a wink to their roots but hints to fans that while change is inevitable, it is always nice to reminisce on the past.

Maya Rae reflects, “Making the music video with Weston and Augie was the best experience!! We had so much fun executing the overall vision and it truly just felt like making something fun with my best friends. We hope you love watching it as much as we did making it.”

In the video, Tiny Habits star as a trio of movers, relocating boxes of nostalgic items, reflecting on the memories, and realizing how far they have come from past difficulties.

Cinya Khan says, “Shooting this was SO EXCITING! We were delighted to explore our music in a visual capacity which is something we have never done before.”

Judah Mayowa on filming, “Seeing our vision of this music video come to life is a moment I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I had such a blast creating it and dancing/goofing around with my best friends for 6 hours, and I’m so grateful for everyone who made it possible.”
