The worldwide hit musical MAMMA MIA! is coming back to Dublin!

This Dublin run is strictly limited to 7 performances only and tickets are on sale from ticketmaster.ie For this show the 3Arena will be in a theatre seating layout.

Audiences will fall head over heels for the ravishing story of a mother, daughter, and her three possible fathers, where everything unfolds to the magic of ABBA’s timeless songs and Greek island idyll as a backdrop.

Leading the cast will be Steph Perry (Donna Sheridan), Nicky Swift (Rosie/Alternate Donna Sheridan), Sarah Earnshaw (Tanya), Richard Standing (Sam Carmichael), Stuart Reid (Harry Bright), Bob Harms (Bill Austin), Ellie Kingdon (Sophie Sheridan), George Maddison (Sky), Farirayi Garaba (Ali), Freya Humerstone (Lisa), Elliott Baker-Costello (Pepper), Jonathan Cordin (Eddie) and William Hazell (Father Alexander).

Audiences will fall head over heels for the sunny, funny tale of a mother, daughter, and her three possible fathers on a Greek island idyll, where everything unfolds to the magic of ABBA’s timeless songs.

It was such a joyous experienceso it is only fitting that the International Tour returns to Dublin to celebrate 20 years of performances in 2024 at the 3Arena.  MAMMA MIA! is a truly heart-warming story inspired by the irresistible music of ABBA and we can’t wait for the Dublin audiences, once again, to have the time of their lives!”

In the past 20 years the MAMMA MIA! International Tour has visited 41 countries, performed more than 3,500 shows and has been seen by over 7 million people. In 2011, MAMMA MIA! was the first Western musical ever to be staged in Mandarin in the People’s Republic of China. MAMMA MIA! now in its 24th year in London, has been seen by over 10 million people and is the 5th longest running musical in West End history. MAMMA MIA! became the 8th longest running show in Broadway history where it played a record-breaking run for 14 years.

MAMMA MIA! The Movie, produced by Judy Craymer in 2008, became the highest-grossing musical of all time and the second film, MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN, (2018) is the most successful sequel of all time.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! was written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken, and musical direction, additional material, and arrangements by Martin Koch.
